Interviews and scheduling

Interviews and scheduling

Make every conversation count.

Bring scheduling, interview preparation and feedback into one connected process. Elevator by Superset helps candidates find a time, interviewers prepare with AI support, and hiring teams make decisions together.

Interview plans

Give every round a clear purpose.

Define the competencies, interviewers, format and duration for each round. The plan guides scheduling and scorecards across candidates for the same role, with clear expectations for feedback.

What’s included
  • Rounds with mode (video, in person, telephonic), duration, panel roles, competencies and focus
  • Feedback SLA in hours per round, enforced by automation rules
  • Plans per role, attached to a stage of the pipeline template
See the pipeline templates

Self-scheduling

Find a time that works for everyone.

Let candidates choose slots based on panel availability and interview load. Elevator coordinates rounds across interviewers and rooms, and highlights conflicts that need a coordinator’s attention.

What’s included
  • Candidate self-schedule links on panel capacity and load, with alternates offered
  • Rooms, slots, panel roster, availability grid and interviewer groups
  • Calendar sync with Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace

Scorecards and debriefs

Bring independent perspectives together.

Interviewers submit feedback against a shared rubric before seeing their colleagues’ responses. The debrief brings scorecards together by competency, helping the team examine differences and record a considered decision.

What’s included
  • Rubric-anchored scorecards per round, blind until submitted
  • Competency heat-map across the panel with divergence highlighted
  • Decision log that the offer stage checks before an offer can be raised

Interview days at scale

Keep interview days running smoothly.

Manage rooms, slots, panels and feedback from one day board. Superset’s infrastructure supports large virtual programmes, with on-ground coordinators available in 300+ cities for in-person rounds.

What’s included
  • 200,000 concurrent virtual interviews
  • On-ground coordinators in 300+ cities for in-person rounds
  • The same loops, scorecards and SLAs whether the day has one candidate or two hundred
High-volume hiring

Live coding and video

Meet candidates in the right setting.

Run collaborative coding interviews in the built-in IDE with video, or connect Microsoft Teams, Zoom and Google Meet. Link recordings and transcripts to scorecards so the hiring team can return to relevant evidence.

What’s included
  • Two-way collaborative coding interface with video, in the browser
  • Teams, Zoom and Meet connectors with recording and transcript linked to the scorecard
  • Media stays in your video platform; Elevator holds the reference

Gate 2

Bring the team to a considered decision.

Collect feedback, compare the evidence and record the hiring decision before moving to an offer.

  • Feedback SLA escalation

Time-in-stage and feedback turnaround are tracked per loop. When a scorecard is overdue, the rule chases the panel and then escalates, at 48 hours for example, within the agreed response time.

  • Interview co-pilot

Question sets generated from the résumé and the role, available to the interviewer live in the room. The panel decides what to ask; the co-pilot makes sure nothing obvious is missed.

  • Gate 2: committee decision

No scorecards, no offer. The debrief records the decision with every scorecard beside it, and an offer cannot be raised until that decision is on the record.

What happens after the decision is on the offers and verified hire page.

What is included

In interviews and scheduling

  • Interview plans per pipeline stage and role: rounds, mode, duration, panel roles, competencies, focus
  • Feedback SLA in hours on every round of the loop
  • Candidate self-schedule links on real panel capacity and load
  • Rooms, slots, panel roster, availability grid and interviewer groups
  • Automatic scheduling that names every conflict for a human to resolve
  • Calendar sync with Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace
  • Rubric-anchored scorecards with four-level behavioural anchors
  • Blind feedback: interviewers see others’ scorecards only after submitting
  • Debrief view with a competency heat-map, divergence surfaced and a decision log
  • Day board that runs a 200-interview day, with on-ground coordinators in 300+ cities
  • Live coding rounds in the built-in collaborative IDE with video
  • Teams, Zoom and Meet connectors, with recording and transcript linked to the scorecard
  • Interview co-pilot question sets from the résumé and the role
  • Gate 2 enforced: no committee decision on the record, no offer

Interviews and scheduling, answered

What is a structured interview loop?
A structured interview loop is a fixed sequence of interview rounds for a role, where each round has a defined mode, duration, panel role, competencies to assess and a rubric to score against. In Elevator a loop is an interview plan attached to a pipeline stage, defined once and run the same way for every candidate. That consistency is what makes scorecards comparable across candidates and interviewers.
What is an interview scorecard?
An interview scorecard is the form an interviewer completes after a round, rating the candidate on each competency and recording the evidence behind the rating. Elevator’s scorecards are anchored to a rubric with four behavioural levels per competency, so a 3 from one interviewer means what a 3 from another means. Scorecards are blind until submitted and go to the debrief unedited.
How does candidate self-scheduling work?
A candidate receives a self-schedule link and picks from slots that reflect the panel’s real availability and interview load, not a generic calendar. Elevator auto-places the rounds of the loop, checks rooms, roster and interviewer groups, and names every conflict it cannot resolve for a coordinator to decide. Confirmed slots sync to Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace calendars.
Can Elevator run large interview days?
Yes. A day board runs a 200-interview day across rooms, slots and panels, with each cell showing booked, in progress or feedback due. The platform supports 200,000 concurrent virtual interviews, and physical rounds are supported by on-ground coordinators in 300+ cities. The same loops, scorecards and SLAs apply whether one candidate is interviewed or two hundred.
How does a debrief surface disagreement?
The debrief puts every scorecard side by side on a competency heat-map, so where the panel diverges is visible rather than averaged into a mean. Interviewers’ words reach the debrief unedited. The committee’s decision and its reasoning are logged, and that log is what the offer stage checks before an offer can be raised.
Which video and coding tools does Elevator support?
Live coding rounds run in Elevator’s built-in collaborative IDE with integrated video, in the browser. Other rounds use Microsoft Teams, Zoom or Google Meet through connectors, and the recording and transcript are linked to the round’s scorecard. Elevator stores a reference to the recording, not the media itself, which stays in your video platform.
What happens when interview feedback is late?
A feedback SLA in hours is set on every round, and an automation rule chases the panel when it is breached. If the scorecard is still missing, the rule escalates to the head of talent acquisition, so a candidate is not left waiting on an interviewer’s inbox. Turnaround per loop is reported on the pipeline and velocity dashboard.
